Junior Cricket News - UNUSED

The Countdown is ON!

Net sessions, rolling the arm, picking up the bat, and blowing away the cobwebs. Just as soon as we say goodbye to another winter, the best time of year will be upon us, cricket season! We are just a few short weeks away from the season starter on Saturday 8th September.

That means it'll be game time!

Time to get past the agonising anticipation and get out on the field. Time to slop on the sunscreen, slap on the wide-brim, and slip into your whites. Time to crack a few boundaries, knock over a few castles, and swallow a few catches as we showcase our skills and improve our games.

Net sessions and training between now and the start of the first week's play are invaluable. History tells us that preparation is the key to success, so be prepared when you take the field on the 8th. This way you'll enjoy all the hard work paying off when you're timing the ball, beating the batsmen, or taking a classic on day one of your season. Above all else, enjoy your season and enjoy playing with your mates in the side, these memories will last you a lifetime...
